Imran & Kareena's Vegas fun!

Apparently Kareena Kapoor isn't well- versed with the world of theatre and stage. That's what Imran Khan learnt while shooting Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with Bebo in Las Vegas.

So after packing up the day's shoot, he often took her to plays, magic shows as well as magician David Copperfield's shows.

Bebo was quite hooked on Cirque du Soleil, which is a mix of circus arts and street entertainment that Vegas is famous for. And even now he keeps the Kapoor kudi updated about the plays that are happening in Mumbai.

Considering that her grand uncle Shashi Kapoor and his children Sanjna and Kunal are part of Prithvi Theatre, perhaps Imran can take Bebo to catch one of the productions there.

It's catch 22 for Bebo

An attempt to avoid a Kareena vs Kareena situation at the BO, when two of her films are expected to release back-to-back in February next year, seems to be underway on a war footing. While Karan Johar's Kareena Kapoor-Imran Khan starrer Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu has been scheduled for a February 10 release next year, her film Agent Vinod with beau, actor Saif Ali Khan was slated for the very next week on Insiders reveal that it's almost like a catch 22-situation for Kareena and it's something that's weighing heavy on everyone's mind. "There's a lot of buzz about both the films, and even though both are of different genres altogether, they are likely to eat into each other's business if released within a week's gap," says a source.February 17. (Even though insiders insist that no date has been locked as yet.) But seems that keen to avoid a clash, Saif is now trying to push the release date of his maiden production further to March. However, if the release date does get pushed to March, the Bebo-Saif wedding is likely to get pushed further ahead as well.

According to another source, Karan is unlikely to change his film's date, as he wants to target the Valentines Day season, while buzz is that Saif's film may not even be ready by then, so there are more chances that Agent Vinod will get postponed in all likelihood.

But this professional decision is also likely to affect their personal front. Both Saif and Kareena have gone on record to state that they will only think about marriage post Agent Vinod. "We are putting everything on hold till the release of the film," they'd said. And now if the film gets postponed, so will the marriage. "Yes, they will need some time to make the wedding preparations, so if the film gets released in March, their wedding is most likely to happen either in late March or early April and not February as planned, unless they decide to stick to their marriage plans irrespective of the film's
release," adds the source.

Kareena Kapoor’s last ‘single’ holiday

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan left for their favourite holiday spot - Gstaad - in the Swiss Alps in Switzerland on Sunday night for two weeks.

The pair plan to ski a lot as Saif loves the sport. This is Bebo's last 'single' holiday. This time next year she will be Begum Khan.

One film, 120 costumes!

The budget for Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine is shooting through the roof, and it’s not because the actors are commanding crores of rupees - it is actually the costumes that are proving to be the real bank breaker.

Manish Malhotra is said to have designed over 120 costumes for Kareena Kapoor to wear over the course of the film, worth Rs 1.65 crores!

“The team is working on 120-odd costume changes for Kareena. The ultra-glamorous and

expensive clothes will show Bebo at her best,” says a source. From designer saris to flowing gowns and sporty clothes, Manish has already worked on the various looks and concepts. This is also the first time in the history of Indian cinema that an actress will change so many clothes and looks in one film. Understandably, this has also increased the budget of the film, but that’s not an issue for Madhur. “As a film, Heroine is a prestige issue for him. To showcase his heroine as the

best was his idea, so obviously he isn’t complaining about the budget,” our source adds.

"Karisma is looking better than any of us actresses" - Kareena

If early reports of Karisma Kapoor's comeback film 'Dangerous Ishq' are any indication, this would be very different from what Karisma has done in the past.

As per those who have had a dekko at the rushes, director Vikram Bhatt has taken the film far ahead of his last 3D horror film 'Haunted', which was a surprise winner early this year.

Says a source, "Vikram keeps the narrative of his films as slightly edgy and Karisma too has never attempted a genre like this before. Not just that as she has never worked in a 3D film format either. She too believes this 'Dangerous Ishq' is the right film for her at this stage of her career."

On the other hand Kareena Kapoor too is happy with what she has seen of the film so far and is gleaming like a star-struck fan.

"Now isn't she looking like a million bucks today", gushes Kareena, "In fact Karisma is looking better than any of us actresses on the scene. I have seen some of the rushes of 'Dangerous Ishq' and she is looking simply divine in the film. She has anyways been a fabulous actress and now that she is back on the sets, it is indeed the most exciting phase of her career."

Well, the fans would certainly wish that Kapoor sisters continue to weave the magic for many more years to come.

Kareena Kapoor spending quality time with beau Saif this Christmas?

For actress Kareena Kapoor, Christmas had taken on a new meaning ever since she had become aunt to her sister Karisma Kapoor’s daughter Samaira.

“Till then I was the youngest in the family and so naturally the one getting the maximum gifts. But after Samaira and Kiaan, I have turned Santa for them and now I’m the one spoiling them silly with all the gifts,” says the doting aunt who reveals that she just can’t stop pampering the two on Christmas especially.

The actress who has some very fond memories associated with the day, reveals that from attending the midnight mass on Christmas eve to helping mum prepare the special lunch, the house is abuzz with excitement during this time. “We even put up a Christmas tree and decorate it with lights and the trinkets,” she says. “Kiaan is too young to help, but Samaaira is real good at it,” she says proudly about her niece.

And though this time around, it will be a quiet Christmas for the actress, who iscurrently travelling, apparently already in Switzerland with beau, actor Saif Ali Khan, where she’s also planning to bring in the New Year, the actress shares that the day continues to be just as special.

Post the demise of Saif’s father former cricketer Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, the two are apparently just spending time with each other and dropping all celebrations.“We are not exactly celebrating it in a very lavish way this year, but I make it a point to visit the church to attend the mass no matter where I am,” she says. She is however quick to add that it’s not for religious, but spiritual purpose. “It’s somehow very beautiful and the positivity around is amazing. You actually feel like taking in all the warmth around,” shares Kareena.

She may not be spending the day with family this time around, but says that Saif has immense respect for her beliefs. Talking about her annual Swiss vacation she says that she cherishes the two weeks vacation more than anything else. “It’s been a rather eventful year for both of us. Now we just want to give each other some time. Taking this break with Saif is what keeps me going all through the year,” shares the actor who recently also finished the first schedule of her film Heroine.

Kareena is magic: Imran Khan

Imran Khan has already admitted Kareena Kapoor is his favourite actress. Working with her in romantic comedy Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu has only strengthened his belief.

"She is like a light bulb. The second the director says 'action', this light comes up and you can't take your eyes off her. She is magic," Imran said on the sidelines of an event here.

Imran's crackling chemistry with Kareena in the promos of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is there for all to see. In fact, he was so much in awe of the 31-year-old stunner that he ended up taking almost 100 pictures of Kareena during the film shoot. Producer Karan Johar has suggested he exhibit the pictures soon.

Even when Imran was asked to choose the most stylish actress of B-Town, he was quick to respond, and said: "I think my vote goes to Kareena."

Produced by Karan Johar, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is directed by Shakun Batra and will release around Valentine's Day next year.

Kareena is so beautiful: Sonam

Sonam Kapoor is all set to push her limits for the first time in her forthcoming film, Players.

“This is something very different from what I have done earlier. It will be my fourth year and I am more adventurous,” says Sonam, who plays a nerd in the film that releases on January 6.

The style-conscious actor has a bold look in the film, and is happy with the final result. “Earlier, I used to play the girl next door, with inherent style in me. I was trying to translate my public image on screen and figure how people would like that,” says the younger daughter of actor Anil Kapoor, who made her debut along with actor Ranbir Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Saawariya (2007).

Incidentally, Sonam considers actor Kareena Kapoor one of the most beautiful actors in the industry and says she would love to have her as a partner, if she ever chooses to become a lesbian. “She is so beautiful. She has a family, so I hope she doesn’t mind me saying that,” says Sonam, adding. “I don’t mind doing a film like Dostana (2008). I am narcissist as an actor.”

In the last four years, Sonam has featured in films like Delhi-6 (2009), I Hate Luv Storys (2010), Aisha (2010), and Mausam (2011), but most didn’t fare well at the box-office. “I usually look at the character arc and its growth. So, even if people don’t remember my films, they will always remember my characters,” believes the actor.
