Kareena rocks in the trailer of Heroine

Actress Kareena Kapoor, who is basking on the success of Ra.One and Bodyguard, is rocking in the first trailer of Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming movie Heroine and she is sure to walk away with the Best Actress award for her performance in the film, say those who watched the movie trailer at the UTV trade event Dhishum Dhishum 2012.

On Wednesday, the UTV had organised a trade event called 'Dhishum Dhishum 2012', where it showcased the video of their slate of films for 2012. The 20 minute Audio Visual included clips of UTV's most-awaited films like Heroine, Barfi, Rowdy Rathore and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana.

However, clips from various movies were shown at the 20 minute Audio Visual and the most interesting one was Madhur Bhandarkar's much-hyped movie Heroine, which deals with the rise and fall of a film star. Although the movie is somewhat similar to The Dirty Picture, Kareena Kapoor has very tough and befitting role to her image.

Kapoor sisters against piracy

Star siblings Karisma and Kareena Kapoor have urged their fans to join in the fight against film-piracy and asked them to watch movies in theatres.

"Actors work so hard, directors work so hard, producers and technicians work so hard in making a movie, so we would like to tell the audience out there to please go to the cinema and watch our movies," said Karisma at an event here.

Kareena, who has two big releases lined up this year -- "Agent Vinod" with beau Saif Ali Khan and Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine", agreed.

"It (Piracy) is a racket and it should stop. You should go and only watch in theatres to see all our films and all the stars' films," she said.

Year 2012 is especially "special" for her elder Karisma as she is making her comeback to filmdom after a hiatus of six years with Vikram Bhatt's "Dangerous Ishq".

"Well, I think it is going to be very special because I am doing a movie after a long time and it feels wonderful that two sisters are in the same profession and have been together throughout. So, it feels good," said Karisma, who featured in movies like "Dil To Pagal Hai", "Raja Hindustani", "Biwi No.1", "Fiza" and "Zubeidaa".

Faridoon Shahryar of Bollywoodhungama got an exclusive look at some upcoming promos, and THIS is what he had to say about Heroine!

Heroine: A nice English number played in the background. Kareena Kapoor is showed in various hues and shades. After playing second fiddle to superstars in last few films, Kareena seems to be finally justifying her immense talent. She laughs, purrs, cries, looks vulnerable and steely eyed too. The rise and fall also has an uncanny reference point in The Dirty Picture. Somehow the cigarette smoking scene is a pointer in that direction. I guess The Dirty Picture is too fresh in the memory and hence the comparison comes to my mind. The final word in the promo.... She Is The Only Heroine.

Saif doesn't wanna go the Shahrukh way with Agent Vinod

It almost seems like an eternity ever since one has been longing to catch Saif Ali Khan and his film AGENT VINOD. The film has been in the making for a while and though there have been quite a few announcements earlier when it comes to the film's release plans, 23rd March seems to be the D-day now.

''This time around it is final. In fact the theatrical promo of AGENT VINOD should be out soon. Saif has gone an extra distance to ensure that it is well cut and makes an instant impact because a lot depends upon the First Look these days. It pretty much brings the film in a make or break situation. He doesn't want to hurry up things and then get into a fire fighting mode,'' informs a source.

He continues, ''AGENT VINOD is a film which is in a space of its own. Unlike Shahrukh who believed in starting the promotion of RA.ONE nine months in advance, Saif wants a sudden burst in quickest possible time. Hence, he believes that only two months of intense promotion would do the trick. Of what I have seen of the film, it has shaped up fantastically. It is a brilliant looking film and the promo just establishes the premise and milieu in just the perfect manner. Saif has a winner in hand.''

Well, we would like to believe that only when we have a dekko at the First Look. Indications are that the wait would be over once our 'desi' James Bond would be unveiled for the first time with either AGNEEPATH or EK MAIN AUR EKK TU

Kareena's Sunny Leone Encounter

Kareena Kapoor reportedly googled the adult film actress' name to check what all the fuss was about.

On reading tabloid reports that Bigg Boss housemate and Indian-American po*n star Sunny Leone had emerged the 'most searched' celebrity on the internet recently (beating such regular favourites as Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone), Kareena Kapoor reportedly googled the adult film actress' name to check what all the fuss was about. Curious about why Leone's name was being bandied about by the papers daily, and aware that filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt had personally visited the Bigg Boss house to offer the young lady a role in his controversial new production Jism 2, Kareena is believed to have gathered her friends at home one evening and got down to business.

Having chanced upon Leone's personal website, Kareena and her friends allegedly clicked on a video, only to discover to their surprise that the young lady was in the business of 'seriously adult entertainment'. After a few minutes of uttering "chhee" and "yuck" while keeping their eyes peeled to the screen, the actress and her friends logged off, and are believed to have spent the next ten minutes chuckling away conspiratorially at their discovery.

Kareena Kapoor tries to buy her way to Bulgaria?

Saif Ali Khan, recently, became the brand ambassador for a real estate company. It is heard that Kareena Kapoor, too, was keen to be a part of this particular ad campaign that was eventually shot in Bulgaria.
