For actress Kareena Kapoor, Christmas had taken on a new meaning ever since she had become aunt to her sister Karisma Kapoor’s daughter Samaira.
“Till then I was the youngest in the family and so naturally the one getting the maximum gifts. But after Samaira and Kiaan, I have turned Santa for them and now I’m the one spoiling them silly with all the gifts,” says the doting aunt who reveals that she just can’t stop pampering the two on Christmas especially.
The actress who has some very fond memories associated with the day, reveals that from attending the midnight mass on Christmas eve to helping mum prepare the special lunch, the house is abuzz with excitement during this time. “We even put up a Christmas tree and decorate it with lights and the trinkets,” she says. “Kiaan is too young to help, but Samaaira is real good at it,” she says proudly about her niece.
And though this time around, it will be a quiet Christmas for the actress, who iscurrently travelling, apparently already in Switzerland with beau, actor Saif Ali Khan, where she’s also planning to bring in the New Year, the actress shares that the day continues to be just as special.
Post the demise of Saif’s father former cricketer Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, the two are apparently just spending time with each other and dropping all celebrations.“We are not exactly celebrating it in a very lavish way this year, but I make it a point to visit the church to attend the mass no matter where I am,” she says. She is however quick to add that it’s not for religious, but spiritual purpose. “It’s somehow very beautiful and the positivity around is amazing. You actually feel like taking in all the warmth around,” shares Kareena.
She may not be spending the day with family this time around, but says that Saif has immense respect for her beliefs. Talking about her annual Swiss vacation she says that she cherishes the two weeks vacation more than anything else. “It’s been a rather eventful year for both of us. Now we just want to give each other some time. Taking this break with Saif is what keeps me going all through the year,” shares the actor who recently also finished the first schedule of her film Heroine.

Kareena is magic: Imran Khan
Imran Khan has already admitted Kareena Kapoor is his favourite actress. Working with her in romantic comedy Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu has only strengthened his belief.
"She is like a light bulb. The second the director says 'action', this light comes up and you can't take your eyes off her. She is magic," Imran said on the sidelines of an event here.
Imran's crackling chemistry with Kareena in the promos of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is there for all to see. In fact, he was so much in awe of the 31-year-old stunner that he ended up taking almost 100 pictures of Kareena during the film shoot. Producer Karan Johar has suggested he exhibit the pictures soon.
Even when Imran was asked to choose the most stylish actress of B-Town, he was quick to respond, and said: "I think my vote goes to Kareena."
Produced by Karan Johar, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is directed by Shakun Batra and will release around Valentine's Day next year.

Kareena is so beautiful: Sonam
Sonam Kapoor is all set to push her limits for the first time in her forthcoming film, Players.
“This is something very different from what I have done earlier. It will be my fourth year and I am more adventurous,” says Sonam, who plays a nerd in the film that releases on January 6.
The style-conscious actor has a bold look in the film, and is happy with the final result. “Earlier, I used to play the girl next door, with inherent style in me. I was trying to translate my public image on screen and figure how people would like that,” says the younger daughter of actor Anil Kapoor, who made her debut along with actor Ranbir Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Saawariya (2007).
Incidentally, Sonam considers actor Kareena Kapoor one of the most beautiful actors in the industry and says she would love to have her as a partner, if she ever chooses to become a lesbian. “She is so beautiful. She has a family, so I hope she doesn’t mind me saying that,” says Sonam, adding. “I don’t mind doing a film like Dostana (2008). I am narcissist as an actor.”
In the last four years, Sonam has featured in films like Delhi-6 (2009), I Hate Luv Storys (2010), Aisha (2010), and Mausam (2011), but most didn’t fare well at the box-office. “I usually look at the character arc and its growth. So, even if people don’t remember my films, they will always remember my characters,” believes the actor.
