Kareena Kapoor finds wax statue the biggest honour
"I think being waxed at Madame Tussaud's is one of the biggest honours I have ever received. In my whole career, I think to be given this particular honour is very rare," said Kareena.
The 31-year-old, who made her debut with 'Refugee' in 2000, gives credit to her fans.
"It is obviously because of you guys and all my fans who have made it possible and made my dream come true," she said. Kiss
Kareena's wax statue, which cost 150,000 pounds, was unveiled at the musuem in Blackpool Oct 27, a day after the release of her latest film 'RA.One'.
"I never really thought that I would be waxed or that my statue would stand besides that of famous personalities in museum. Whether it is Mr. Bachchan, or Shah Rukh or Sachin Tendulkar.... really never thought I would be standing next to them. But thank you guys for making my dream possible," she said.
Currently, the actress has her kitty full with projects like 'Ek Main Aur Ek Tu', 'Agent Vinod', Reema Kagti's untitled project and Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Heroine'.

"Kareena is already family" - Soha Ali Khan
A few days ago, it was reported that actor Saif Ali Khan had confirmed his plans to marry Kareena Kapoor in February-March 2012. And even though Kareena is yet to talk about the wedding, Saif's sister Soha Ali Khan says Bebo is "already part of the family."
"All of us are very fond Kareena. Besides being fully supportive, she is a very caring and nice person. Both bhai (brother) and Kareena are very good together. She makes him happy and completes him in so many ways. They make a very good couple," said the Rang De Basanti (2006) actor a few days ago, adding that the entire country is looking forward to their marriage.
"Their relationship has become very strong. Both Kareena and bhai have grown a lot as a couple. Since both of them have openly declared that they want to get married next year, we are completely expecting a marriage," said Soha.
In the above-mentioned report, Saif had stated that he and Kareena would definitely get married by early next year.
"We plan to get married in February 2012 after Agent Vinod releases, but if the film's release gets delayed we will still get married by March. We won't postpone the marriage beyond that anymore," he had said.

Will Saif & Kareena sizzle with Agent Vinod?
With RA.ONE nearing the end of its run, Kareena Kapoor is now moving on to her next release AGENT VINOD. While audience as well as critics review did mention that she was one of the brighter spots of the film, especially due to the way she sizzled in 'Chammak Challo', even Kareena would agree that when it came to on-screen chemistry between her and Shahrukh, there wasn't much to offer due to the film's genre.
Now that AGENT VINOD is about to hit the screens, one can well expect the film to be really special for her, courtesy her real life partner producing and acting in it. So can one say that it would be their chemistry that would facilitate in igniting the screen in a big way?
Says Kareena, "See, Saif was my real life partner even during the days of KURBAAN but the film didn't do very well. It ultimately depends upon how a director wants to present his actors. With AGENT VINOD though I can promise that (director) Sriram Raghavan has gone all out to ensure that my pairing with Saif indeed stands out since the script requires that."
One does tend to believe this while also considering the fact that BODYGUARD was a love story in the disguise of an action drama whereas RA.ONE had everything but a love story embedded into the screenplay.
In that context, while one wonders how much scope for romantic rendezvous a spy thriller like AGENT VINOD carries, Kareena says, "AGENT VINOD has to be seen for what it is instead of being conscious of the fact that it features me along with Saif."
While she seems to be quite poised about the future prospects of AGENT VINOD, how is Saif looking forward to the film's release? After all ever since KURBAAN, his only other film has been AARAKSHAN where he merely enjoyed an extended guest appearance of sorts.
"Frankly, Saif's whole life currently revolves around AGENT VINOD. He is super excited about the film and has worked on it with all the passion. You would see that for yourself," smiles Kareena before signing off.

Madhur’s Heroine to finally get going
Madhur Bhandarkar’s magnum opus, which has spent the best part of 2011 making news for all the wrong reasons, is all set to go underway, and the auspicious date chosen is November 25. The sets are ready, as are the costumes; the schedules have all been booked, and even the question that gave Madhur the most headaches - that of the lead actress - has been sorted. Kareena Kapoor has given the green signal to the project, and confirmed her dates too. “Madhur is looking forward to this, but is a tad nervous as well. He hasn’t forgotten the difficulties the film ran into earlier this year,” says his office. The script has been tweaked slightly to suit Kareena, but is largely the same as it was for Aishwarya Rai.
Meanwhile, Kareena too is ready to face the camera for what promises to be the biggest role of her career. Her costume designers, make-up artistes, and other technicians have also assured her that they would come up with the best for her biggest venture. The buzz is that Kareena is already following a certain diet to achieve a slender body for her ultra-glamorous avatar in the film.
